unsubscribing from thursday ads/junk mail?
I know there are services that will take your name/address off junk mail lists, but does anyone know if there's a way of not getting the bundle of ads and coupons and whatnot that come every Thursday?
Answered, thanks! Apparently you can unsubscribe by filling out the "Have you seen me?" missing kid postcard, which also cleverly has unsubscribing information on it.

I suspect this is one of those things we'll start to see a lot less of once we've got a meaningful CO2 cap-and-trade system in place.

I recall another post on this subject a year or two ago, but I'm having trouble finding it right now. The manager of Globe Direct actually came here and answered questions.
Edit: Here's the earlier post, but I must be mis-remembering about the manager posting there.
Re-edit: This is the post where the Globe Direct employee commented!
obsolete info
My personal crusade to stop Globe Direct remains frustrated.
