unsubscribing from thursday ads/junk mail?

I know there are services that will take your name/address off junk mail lists,but does anyone know if there's a way of not getting the bundle of ads and coupons and whatnot that come every Thursday?

Answered, thanks! Apparently you can unsubscribe by filling out the "Have you seen me?" missing kid postcard, which also cleverly has unsubscribing information on it.

Isn't that the same thing that the OP is talking about? With the supermarket circulars?

I recall another post on this subject a year or two ago, but I'm having trouble finding it right now. The manager of Globe Direct actually came here and answered questions.

The post with the globe direct employee now contains obsolete information. The contact info she provided just bounces and she is not listed on their employee page anymore. Maybe her customer service was too good and she got fired.

My personal crusade to stop Globe Direct remains frustrated.
