You are feeling very sleepy ...

So, I have a friend who's just starting a hypnotherapy practice in Arlington, and I'm spreading the word for two reasons: First, she's generally fantastic, and I hope to see her practice grow and continue. More importantly, however, I think that both hypnotherapy and specifically her practice of hypnotherapy are great and useful for a variety of applications, so I'm pleased to spread the word about it generally and her in particular.

She's tenBroek Hypnotherapy, and I can definitely say without reservation that I've deeply enjoyed the hypnosis sessions I've done with her, and I'm looking forward to doing more. I'd be happy to talk in more detail with anyone who has questions.

What techniques does she use that do NOT involve visualizing?

Thanks, that's good to know. I've got enough other therapy on my plate right now, but I've long been interested in hypnotherapy, and frustrated by my own low-responsiveness and with what seems an overwhelming penchance in the field to rely on visualization techniques.

Technically, example #5 is a simile ;)
