New Yoga Studio Open House


There's a new yoga studio opening in Union Square.  Today they are having an open house with free classes.  It is located above Bloc 11 Cafe, and is co-owned by firefighters Blanca Alcaraz (also one of the teachers) and Charlie Houghton.  Check them out.....I think they will be very successful.

The Zeitgeist Gallery in Cambridge was supposed to relocate to that space -- any idea why that did not happen?

Saturated? I don't know, I tend to think we're more saturated with drugstores. The market will decide if we are saturated, if there is enough call for Yoga classes, then perhaps many of them can survive. I took several of the free classes at Be in Union and they were wonderful. The instructors are topnotch. They said that they will run weekly free or low cost classes probably on Friday nights, which is great! I also like that it's totally locally-owned. Of course, the coffee shop right downstairs is also nice!!
