crock pot, microwave

first question:  does anyone want a microwave (works fine, but display doesn't, so you don't know how long things have been in for) or a crock pot (workability unknown).  both free.

Second question:  if no takers, do you know if the microwave will be picked up by trash collectors?  i think i also have a floor lamp to trash,  same question :)

thanks!

damaged side-view mirrors Sat night

Three cars, that I am aware of, had their side view mirrors badly damaged last night. I walked around the neighborhood and talked to some other people who also found this had happened to their cars last night.

I don't know if anyone can do anything preventative about this, but I thought I'd let people know.

This was on the corner of Thorndike and Kingston just off the bike path.

laughing cow cheese

Trivial question, but: is there a store around here that sells Laughing Cow Cheese wheels? I have a coupon that I want to get some use out of.

I checked the Porter Square Shaw's and the Pemberton Farms deli today; neither had it. And I would have thought they both would, so clearly I have no conception of the market for name-brand cheese spreads.

Any woodworkers with a jointer I could use?

I want to glue up some oak boards for a couple of end tables I'm making.  The edges are quite rough and it would be a whole lot easier to do on a jointer than with a hand plane.  If you're the proud owner of a jointer and wouldn't mind either doing this for me or letting me use the machine for 10 minutes,  I would be quite grateful.  I only have 4 boards ~2' long & just need to joint 1 edge of each, so it should be quick.

I'm available eves W-F or weekends.  Respond to this thread, or send me a private message with your contact info.

Thanks!
