Article on Cambridge's new yoga parking tickets
Thought I'd share a hilarious article in the Boston Herald on Cambridge's new parking tickets, illustrated with suggested yoga poses.
I think the best bit is the last paragraph:
I think the best bit is the last paragraph:
"Somerville has a little less of a zen yoga vibe," said city spokesman Michael Meehan. "I don't think we'd be having our parking attendants doing yoga poses ... We're open to putting local art on all sorts of materials. Somerville is home to more artists per capita than any other city in New England. But we're not going to be switching over to a division of Tantra & Parking."

A story on Wicked Local a couple weeks ago was (I think) the first article about the new tickets, silly traffic signs, and soft boots in Cambridge.

The Wicked Local article has pictures showing some of the signs, one of the tickets, and one of the boots. The boot looks like a big pillow sewn in the shape of a parking boot.
