Artisan's Asylum Anniversary - and Moving Party!

Howdy, all!

On July 9, from 7-11pm, we will be having a massive party to celebrate our first anniversary, and to raise funds for our move into a larger space! Stay tuned for an announcement of the location.

At the end of the summer, we are moving from our current 9,000 s.f. space to one that is 25,000 s.f. - and about a 10 minute walk from the Red Line.

We will be expanding several of our existing craft areas, adding new equipment - like a laser cutter! ZOMG - and adding additional craft areas that we have not had the space for. We will also be renting out a significant portion of the space to people who want their own workspace/studio close to the tools and the action.

If you are interested in potentially renting space within our space, click here and fill out the survey, so that we can make the best arrangements possible for the expansion.

If you can't make it to the party, but would still like to donate, you can do that here.

Please pass this on to whomever you like - the full announcement is here on our site, and the Facebook event for the party is here.

You probably didn't intend to publicly announce the new location, but you just did (at the SurveyMonkey link)

I'd call it a 20 minute walk from the Red Line (at Porter or Harvard), not 10. Sounds way cool, and congratulations! Is this the former Ames Envelope factory?

I agree. It's a 10-minute *run*.

But woohoo on the new space!

LASER!!

I'm using Google Maps walk speed, which pretty much matches my own (3 miles/hour)
