VHS to DVD Conversion

I'd like to convert 5-7 personal VHS tapes to DVD as I don't have a VCR.  I don't need any of the bells and whistles but just want to preserve the tapes. 

Are there any local businesses or anyone in the Davis Square community that can do this at a reasonable price ($10/tape or less )?

It's been a few years since I researched this, so don't trust me fully, but I think the service is unlikely to be anywhere near that cheap.
