for folks on the Medford side of the line...

Some nifty links. ;)

My nomination is the Route 60 rotary under I-93 near Medford Square. Biking through it at night is scary because there are no street lights! Or if there are, they are burned out or otherwise non-functional.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Boston Ave and College Ave near Tufts, where going straight on Boston Ave, and going straight on College Ave both have green lights at the same time. I'm surprised people don't get killed there every month!

Is there any place that lists the performers at the Wright's Pond concerts?

I'm also curious whether I can bike in as a non-Medford resident. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense for me to have to park the bike somewhere else and take a bus into the pond.

Residents require a walk-in pass if not driving in. I don't know if the rules change when there is a performer.

The Medford Summer Recreation Guide on the page that [livejournal.com profile] tigerbright linked to says:
Parking: For all Families who do not have a Wrights Pond parking pass a shuttle bus will
be provided from 5pm to sunset. The Shuttle bus will pick up on Elm St. at two locations 1)
Flynn Rink parking lot and 2) from the MBTA #134 bus stop, at the bottom of Elm Street.
Seems a bit silly to make walk-in or bike-in folks go to a bus stop, plus I don't see any #134 stop anywhere near Elm Street.

The Summer Recreation Guide refers people to http://medfordfamilies.org/summer.php for more information on the concerts, but I don't see anything there.

I nominated the I-93 off-ramp to 16, where you have to blindly merge across 3 lanes of traffic to head towards Somerville.

Which, the last time I drove it, was signed on I-93 only as an exit for Revere, not one for Somerville. I've never understood that.
