Girl Scout cookies

Has anyone spotted Girl Scouts selling cookies in the Davis Square area yet? I usually see them inside the T station, but not yet so far this year. EDIT: They were in the T station this evening, and if previous years are any indicator, they will be there again regularly for at least a few weeks.

Alternatively, anyone have a daughter who is still taking orders? :)

My daughter's troop turned in their order forms a few weeks ago. According to the booth locator, there should be someone selling at Davis today from 3-7 http://www.girlscouts.org/program/gs_cookies/cookie_season.asp?path=Path2 (close the pop-up and scroll down the screen) This may not be a Somerville (or even somewhat local) troop. The T station sales are arranged by the Girl Scout Council.

If you want to stay local, our Somerville troop will have a booth sometime in the next couple of weeks. I will definitely post info when I know the details.

My daughter's Somerville Brownie troop will be selling Girl Scout cookies at the Stop & Shop on McGrath on Saturday, Feb 9th from 1-4 and Sunday Feb 10th from 11-3. $4/box.

Thanks for the info. I was looking for a treat, and the Samoas are the best!

Hi! There will be a booth sale run by a Somerville Daisy troop on (Superbowl!) Sunday in front of the Shaw's at Porter from 12-4. We're actually the sister troop of the one mentioned above, so I encourage you and anyone else looking for cookies to visit either (or both) of us!

Thank you so much!! Let me know if you have any questions :).

People should definitely go to both booths. You know the cookies you buy this weekend will be gone by next weekend. Oh, and the cookies freeze well, so buy lots. This year there are several options labeled 'vegan'...Horray for those with special diets and dairy/egg allergies. Sorry, nothing gluten free.

Agreed! There are only a few local Somerville troops -- I think we're two of four troops -- and we would both love your support!

Ah, nice! That's my favorite location :)

I would suggest contacting the GS Council at http://www.girlscoutseasternmass.org. Somerville's council rep is Denise. She should be able to help you out!

ETA: It's Denise Dixon, ddixon@girlscoutseasternmass.org, (857)-453-5311

There's also a cookie sale locator you can use should you be hit by future cravings:
