Mediterranean Grill

Last night [livejournal.com profile] pir and I were walking past the Rosebud and noticed the big new sign, a menu, and a lighted opening in that little brick building that seems attached to behind the Rosebud car. We were wondering if this Mediterranean Grill (is that right?) is affiliated at all with Rosebud, given the proximity, as well as the fact that the new sign replaces the old, big, rosebud one. has anyone eaten here or know anything about it? what's the history of that brick attachment? I never really noticed or paid attention to it before.

Just curious.

I believe that that used to be a sort of bar & grill extension to the Rosebud, sort of like a dining room. I'm pretty sure it's still associated with the Rosebud, especially as there's a door (I think for staff only) between the back hall of the diner and that back area.

I'm confused by the name, though. "Mediterranean Grill" doesn't exactly sound like Rosebud fare.

The folk in the Rosebud were talking about it a few weeks ago. They've been refitting the whole place, and yes, it's an extension of the Rosebud.

It's associated with Rosebuds.
Run by two Bentley grads I met while out in Davis. I haven't been there yet, but have been meening to. They seemed like quality guys and really excited about their 'project.'
