Alex Pizza

Just wanted to say that I went to Alex Pizza yesterday (new place where Out of the Blue used to be) and had a slice and the pizza was great. I think it's Greek style pizza but it's not as boring as I usually find Greek pizza to be. The people working there were very friendly. It's a family operation. Oh and as reported earlier -- they have breakfast too which is not too easy to find in the square. As much as I'm a bit confused about why they've opened when there's already pizza options in either direction, they seem really nice and I hope they do well! Anyone else tried anything besides the pizza there yet?

What kind of breakfast, did you notice?

They're ok. The slices are a bit expensive at $1.75/slice or so. They're clearly still figuring
things out.

I am disappointed that it's yet another greek pizza place. We have way too many of those, and not
enough good italian pizza places.

How's the crust? Do you need two hands to hold a slice when you eat it?

no, it's not that big pizza like Mike's has that you have to fold in half to eat, it's normal slices with a thinker crust that actually has a flavor to it.

The pizza is AMAZING! I love Greek style and that's definitely what they're serving up. The mozz sticks weren't great but the chicken fingers and cheesesteaks are fantastic, too.

Definitely worth checking out! The staff are so happy to please, they'll put stuff on your pizza if they have it, even if it's not listed as a topping, like bacon.

The blonde lady who works there told me she is from Albania. I thought she was about 42, but she is a grandmother!
