Health Insurance

Hello again DSers
Sorry to post so much in one day, but I figured that other DS people know this best:
For anyone out there that has independent heatlth insurance/pay out of pocket health insurance, can you point me in the right direction? I have one lead that I am meeting tomorrow at the Dunkin Dougnuts in DS, but I thought other people might have more ideas.

Any help is welcome. Thanks!

My partner and I have a small business (an S-Corp) for our Internet Security Consulting work (http://www.coopercain.com). We joined the Somerville Chamber of Commerce and then, through them, signed up for Heath Care and Dental coverage via SBSB, The Small Business Service Bureau (http://www.sbsb.com/).

You might have to have at least a 2-person business for this to work, but I'm not entirely positive about that.

Are you looking for individual health insurance for yourself (or a couple)? If so, there are a bunch of new plans starting this year (and a few in the past couple of months) under the new health care law. Try calling the Connector to see if anything they're doing will apply to you (877-MA-ENROLL)

This is the new "Universal Health Care" program that comes from the new laws that the state passed last year. Health insurance is now manditory, unfortunately, but if you don't make too much money it's not too expensive, I guess. Though I don't know how good the plans are compared with other, more expensive private ones.

if you make less than a certain amount - Cambridge Health Alliance might work. I used to have it and they ERASED a ridiculous $600 ER visit I had to have because I didnt have a doctor or insurance. (www.challiance.org/)
