Well.....to be fair, it was the first story I clicked on when I went to the Globe website this morning. I even read the comments, something I never do. I got absolutely no new information, and didn't really expect to, but just the chance I might have was enough to lure me in.

Yeah, way to go Globe, thanks for the old news. The incident happened on a "recent afternoon"?! That was April 10 and a story is published today, April 26? I see lots of comments though, they must be happy at the Globe.

now i'm curious if he spat or not since the newer article (which is Almost somewhat recent to the incident) indicates it may not have happened. that's a major factor, but i'm still not ok with physical violence at a business.

oddly enough, i went there today with some noobs who hadn't even been to ball square yet, let alone heard of this debacle. they thought i was telling crazy lies about everything!

i'm curious as to who strongly favors one over the other (and why)?

To be fair, this isn't necessarily a breaking news kind of story. They aren't covering the alleged assault as much as the overall animosity.

Looks like the WBZ reporter and the NECN van were unrelated. Here's the video from NECN and it's definitely not the same broadcaster as Mr. WBZ:
