Ron, did the Globe get all of the backstory right? I thought Moccia announced plans to open Ball Square Cafe before Yassir bought the space next door. The article makes i
Good to see Yasser finally admit Omar was his cook - I think in the past his schtick was Moccia stole his "dishwasher".
I don't know -- this is your neighborhood, not mine. You ended the first paragraph in the middle of a sentence, so you may want to delete your comment and repost. (I'll delete this reply after you delete your comment.)
Well.....to be fair, it was the first story I clicked on when I went to the Globe website this morning. I even read the comments, something I never do. I got absolutely no new information, and didn't really expect to, but just the chance I might have was enough to lure me in.
Yeah, way to go Globe, thanks for the old news. The incident happened on a "recent afternoon"?! That was April 10 and a story is published today, April 26? I see lots of comments though, they must be happy at the Globe. now i'm curious if he spat or not since the newer article (which is Almost somewhat recent to the incident) indicates it may not have happened. that's a major factor, but i'm still not ok with physical violence at a business.
oddly enough, i went there today with some noobs who hadn't even been to ball square yet, let alone heard of this debacle. they thought i was telling crazy lies about everything!
i'm curious as to who strongly favors one over the other (and why)?
Is anyone enjoying this more than the two obnoxious bozos who own these businesses? The publicity alone will increase the number of morons who stand in line in the rain and cold, hoping to witness Round 2. Maybe the customers can join in and have a wild Sunday Morning Melee in Ball Square!
Soon there will be vendors hawking merchandise such as cammo T-shirts with "I Survived the Breakfast Battle of Ball Square" or maybe "Team Soundbites"/"Team BSC".
Just saw that one!
