Let me tell you about how much I love my dry cleaner

I usually think that having a relationship with people who provide intermittent services is a little overrated, but from the moment I first walked in to Skyline Drycleaner in Ball Square (across from the dueling breakfasteries), John made me feel welcome and valued. He knows me by sight, which is not terribly hard, but he knows my husband too.

They are open until 7pm on weekdays and also have a drop off chute. The VIP program is ridiculously easy to join and gets you a drop off bag and monthly billing. I get an emailed receipt when my clothes are processed and another when they are ready. Turnaround time is usually 1 day for normal things.

Men's shirts are $2.25 for laundry and pressing--we can't do them at home for that. All the other prices are reasonable. He has my wedding dress right now. (ETA: and he did a great job with it.)

They advertise pickup and delivery, but I haven't used it.

I would not mention this, but there's a groupon today, and if you haven't already got a regular dry cleaner, maybe this is the one for you. Ball Square, Broadway.
