Angeltronics moving out of Somerville

FYI Angeltronics, the computer repair store that was in Davis and is currently in Ball Square, is moving to Malden.   I was in there today and was pleased with the service.   The owner doesn't know if the landlord has a replacement.

I didn't think about posting this here. I happened to walk in yesterday - for the first time in their entire several years in that location - to ask a question about phone repairs, and found out the
same information about their move. The owner said they don't get enough foot traffic in their current location to keep business up, but the rent in Davis proper was too steep.

My husband will be deeply disappointed.

This isn't a complaint, but a context-adding comment:

I was a foot traffic walk-in, but in all visits, didn't get a "hello" until I broke the ice and started talking to whichever staff turned back to their computer the slowest. I was told to "come back in a few hours/tomorrow" twice so that I could talk with a particular guy. After stopping in those two more times, without that guy present, I gave up. They seemed like nice people but I suppose the thought did not occur to them to, for example, take my name and number* so the guy could call me. I chalked this up to honest introversion or nerd culture**, rather than bad business sense, and I was not insulted, but I also did not give them my business because I wanted handholding that seemed unlikely from these folks. Some behavioral changes may prove effective in addition to the location change.

*I didn't offer them my information either, this isn't a customer complaint, I wasn't insulted, please let's not do the usual "OP could have X" thing.
**I am not a participant but am accepting of nerd culture.

I've never been impressed with them, ever since they managed to screw up the track pad on my old laptop when I brought it in to get the hard drive replaced years ago.
