free! misc Mac stuff
Mar. 16th, 2004 08:08 pmif interested, email me and come get it. porter/davis square area.
1. CapSure PCMCI video capture card. for Zoomed Video capable laptop running Windows 95 or MacOS 8/9. (packaging says PowerBook 3400 and more recent. I used it with a PowerBook G3"Wallstreet" model.) takes S-Video or standard RCA video connector input.
2. Adaptec 2940 LVD SCSI card, for Mac only. for PCI power macs running MacOS 8 or 9. not OSX compatible! no idea if it works with beige G3s -- it was designed in the era of the 7200/7500/7600/8500/9500/8600/9600 macs. might work in a 4400, 6400, or 6500. if you have no idea what i'm talking about, you probably don't want this card.
(you may be able to flash this card to work with a PC, but i can't tell you how. i've heard of PC cards being flashed for Mac, so it seems possible to go the other way.)
3. i just discovered that i have an Adaptec 29160N card available.
4. Firewire2Go card that provides a firewire port for your laptop via the PC Card slot. this is plug-n-play on a powerbook. free to first taker to come get it.
5. ADB Addesso Tru-Form natural keyboard (this is the company that Microsoft copied their "natural keyboard" design from) with that weird eraser nub mouse control. this is the older model that can tilt up in the front if needed. works only with Macs with ADB ports -- everything listed above, plus all other pre-USB Macs.
