davis_squareThe Somerville Journal's editor, Kat Powers, has decided to "shut down comments on our new stories" -- including the story where she announced this. I can't immediately tell whether she has removed or hidden comments on older news stories. ETA: She hasn't, for the most part. (I'm also not sure whether she meant "new stories" or "news stories".)
Since the Journal has provided no mechanism for reader feedback on this decision, let's discuss it here.
