Hi Everyone,

I'm looking to make some extra cash by house sitting and/or pet sitting.

I am a responsible, neat/clean, young professional. I grew up with four dogs and two cats, and I worked for awhile at an animal hospital. But most of all, I just miss living with animals (my roommate is allergic!), so please, if you know anyone looking for a house/pet sitter, pass on my information!

Word of advice? I'd space these out a little, maybe post one per hour. People are members of multiple communities pertaining to the area and seeing the same post seven times in a row on a friends list can sometimes burn goodwill.

Heh, yeah, between b0st0n and davis_square you should cover most of the Boston area (most other comms about the Boston area are rather quiet.)

try checking out sittercity.com. I've gotten some good babysitting gigs there. Don't know what they've got listed under house care or pet care, but worth checking out.

I highly recommend signing up with Sittercity

They tend to be a great source for pet sitting jobs (also baby sitting if you do that). Just sign up as one of their sitters and people will find you.

Another site you might look into is Care.com. (http://www.care.com) I haven't used it, but they're based locally and a former colleague of mine is an editor there. Child care, pet care, elder care, housekeeping, tutoring, etc. Good luck!
