The Divorced have become a band on the rise in Boston earning quite the name and reputation for themselves over the past year. The quartet has played over 75 shows throughout New England and Canada delivering their haunting tales of love, seduction, loss, and self destruction. In true rock-n-roll fashion, the Southie-based outfit have found themselves getting in and out of trouble on the road, yet still maintaining an ornate ability to steal the hearts of all those who they play before.
Co-headlining the event with The Divorced is New Hampshire native Jason Anderson (K Records) and his backing band The Best who deliver "E Street Band-type-crowd-pleasers" with full on sing-a-longs and dancing to boot!
Math The Band, fresh off the heels of a new record "Banned The Math" (In Stores Now), deliver freakout-indie-synth-folk numbers sure to energize any enthusiast of the previously mentioned monikers. The band is fronted by the prolific and reclusive Kevin Steinhauser, who is known for his powerhouse performances that can literally light a dance floor on fire.
Vermont's indie breakout outfit of 2008, Hello Shark, round out the bill with psych-folk tales of sex, piracy, and insanity. Originally from Newburyport, MA, songwriter Linc Halloran has been busy over the past year twice touring the U.S. and releasing two separate L.P.'s.
Join us for this exciting all-ages show on April 26th. It promises to be an eventful evening of music.
