I always get back to it by clicking on the LiveJournal FAQ link in the sidebar and searching in the page for the string "tags".

It's (lj-cut), very simple. Except of course instead of using () you use <>.

If you ever want me to give you a crash course in basic HTML sometime when you're over here, just let me know. It's incredibly easy.
