Wicked Coffee & Chinese restaurant?

Does anyone know what's up with the coffee shop and restaurant down Broadway from Teele square? They've been closed since I moved here 7 months ago because of a fire or something, but as of yesterday at least there was caution tape up and a porta-john, which implies that something is going on.

Last summer there was a fire caused by the chinese restaurant. I used to visit the wicked good coffee shop every day, the owner was really nice. They had lots of inspectors and contractors look at it periodically and then there was nothing for months. They had a huge contractors dump bin out there last week as well. I am guessing A. insurance money took a long time for processing so they didnt begin work or B. the people moved out and finally there are new renters so they are fixing it up? No idea really. I live two streets over and walk my dogs by all the time, I would ask but the only people there friday were two guys who didnt know much english.
