Hey Davis Square!

I launched my wine tasting company Pour Favor earlier this year and realized I'm working my mojo outside of Somerville more often than not. But I love this little plot of land! It's time to get local. Plus, with gas prices being what they are, I've noticed many more of us are sticking closer to home this summer and looking for a creative way to keep things fresh, fun and cost-effective. I'd love to help you and your friends or colleagues beat the heat and high gas prices by delivering a wine tasting party that will make you the toast of the town!

just a thought...the print size on your website is so tiny it's almost not readable...you may want to enlarge it a little bit!

Hey there Laryu! This isn't about my taste/preferences, it's about yours! Well, more or less... I work with my clients to pick a "theme" for the event, but the idea is to give guests a chance to taste different wines, learn a little something more about them and really EXPERIENCE each wine. I'm not in the business of selling wine, so it is more a question of helping folks figure out their own preferences, try new things, perhaps, and have a heck of a good time while doing so!

I too was thinking that an open local tasting might be a good idea--for the reason of letting folks experience what your tastings are like. I've been to many tastings, though the styles seem to vary widely, particularly in terms of the amount and type of information shared as to the wines. I always hope to learn something new or gain some new appreciation beyond what I may discover on my own simply from the act of tasting.

Your website is well done, though I still think it's hard to gauge what an event is like without having an opportunity to experience it. Then again, it may be difficult to find a venue where you could host such an event.
