Hit & Run

If anyone sees a medium to large white (or other light color) pickup truck with visible damage to the left side, please send me any information you have ASAP, and if possible take pictures. The vehicle I'm looking for was involved in a hit and run accident last night (at Summer St & Cherry St, going the wrong way on Cherry).

While you're certainly correct that a police report should be filed, I don't think the PD will be terribly aggressive about trying to find the party that deserted the scene unless injuries or a rather exceptional amount of damage were involved. When I was the victim of a hit-and-run (which caused a modest amount of damage and no injuries) a number of years ago in Cambridge, the Cambridge police were unfortunately not even willing to investigate.

I'm sorry. I misunderstood the original post, thinking that from hit and run, there was an injury. I can see the police not wanting to get involved otherwise.

Or it wasn't the only car he hit that night. They may nail the guy if he hits some other car elsewhere in the same "spree" and can't drive away afterwards.
