davis_squareI'm giving a recital with a couple friends this Saturday, Sept. 27 at 8:00. I'll be singing two sets of songs by Francis Poulenc: Le Travail de Peintre (Works of Painters) and Chansons Gaillardes (Bawdy Songs), with piano accompaniment. A flautist friend will perform a fantasy on themes from Bizet's Carmen, and a work called called "Pan's Flute," also with piano accompaniment. It's going to be a beautiful program.
The recital will be at First Congregational Church of Somerville, 89 College Ave., and following the recital there will be a reception in Duhamel Hall downstairs.
Admission is free, but there will be a goodwill collection to support the music program at First Congregational Church.
