Street Cleaning

I've always had offstreet parking until recently so don't know the answer to this question (and couldn't find it on the city's website): If street cleaning falls on a holiday, does the schedule change, like it does with trash day? (e.g., street was supposed to be cleaned today, monday; will it be cleaned tomorrow instead?)

Please don't take this as definitive, but I lived and parked on-street for eight years near Davis Square (until last fall) and never observed a "shifting" of street cleaning days. I think if street cleaning falls on a holiday, you just get lucky.

However, I lived on a street where street cleaning was on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so it wasn't often that holidays fell on street cleaning days.

I'm pretty sure they just skip it that week.

They skip that cleaning day and then ticket you randomly in the future to make up for lost revenue. Or at least they seem to.
