If you have time to complain to an online community about how elections are being run then you have time to come out and work the elections! Come and see how it is done, how improvements can be made and what the workers are doing behind the scenes. I take a personal day for every major election to work the polls and it is really easy to sign up. Contact the election department at http://www.somervillema.gov/Department.cfm?dept=ELECT
It would be good to get a set of "younger" folks there (under the age of 65) and you can be part of the solution rather than just complaining about problems.....
