I'm looking for information about getting a massage for some musculature pain in my neck and shoulder. I have been to physical therapy for it in the past, but I just need some immediate relief.

I'm looking for a massage place that's reasonably local and who would have an opening today. I'd prefer some place more clinical to somewhere new agey. I'm also looking in the 50-60 dollar price range for a massage that would actually help (30 minutes? 45?)

I'm also not sure what kind I'm looking for, when I was getting regular massages for physical therapy, it needed to be a fair amount of pressure, generally more than the small woman who was providing could manage.. so would that fall under deep tissue? or because it's an injury related thing should I be looking for something in that category?

Thank you!

I recommend Water House Wellness, specifically, Kelly Fitzpatrick. She's a very well trained CLMT, and quite good. I went with back problems, and she was fantastic.

I have chronic back pain and he did wonders with me. He does as much pressure as you like, but can get pretty deep which is great.
