Parking on Thanksgiving

I was curious if my guests will need to use permits for parking on Thanksgiving. I knew this community would help me.

The answer is no they will not. Holidays = Sundays as far as parking goes.

A small number of permit parking signs in Somerville don't say "Except Sunday". I suspect you don't need a permit in those areas on Sundays and holidays anyway, since they're pretty sloppy about standardizing the design of those signs and the vast majority of parking rules are suspended on Sundays. Does anyone know for sure?
