Alter-Ego, Images Made with Toy Cameras and Alternative Photographic
Processes

The Nave Gallery (Somerville, MA) seeks work made with toy cameras,
Polaroid/Polaroid transfers, cyanotypes, pinhole cameras,
platinum/palladium printing or any other alternative photographic
technique.

Film is dead, right? Not so fast. The proliferation of toy cameras, pinhole
camera kits and how-to-manuals for alternative processes suggests
otherwise. The exhibition Alter-Ego will celebrate the quirky, personal,
non-digital point of view of artists bucking the trend in the world of 21st
century photography. All themes will be considered.

Alter-Ego will take place from May 2-21, 2009 at the Nave Gallery. Please
send: $15 nonrefundable entry fee, a resume, statement, and up to 5 images
(slides or JPEGs on CD with accompanying image list), and an SASE if you
would like your submission materials returned to:

Does an "alternative photography technique" have to use film? I mean, I do stuff like this:

Although I find it a little funny that for a submission to be considered, a digital version has to be sent in...

I will prove that film is not dead by sending in a digital file of my analog work!
