Boxtops for Education

I live in Somerville with my partner. We don't have any kids, but we dutifully clip the Boxtops for Education off various products we buy. We've got a small ziplock bag full of them now.

We'd really like to donate these to the Somerville school system, but we'd also like for them to get used. Anybody know whether Somerville participates in the program or if they'll just throw them away? If Somerville participates, any idea where I can send/drop them?

I checked the tags and searched davis_square to no avail. I'm not sure how to search somervillemass since they don't have LJ Seek set up.

Googling, I found a link to the Capuano PTA fundraising page, but no discussion of how to turn them in. And, apparently, there is no Boxtops for Education Coordinator right now.

I believe in the goofiness of "children are the future" and don't mind my taxes going toward improving their lives. Helping out with funding is just a bonus, esp. since I don't have much real money.

My son collects them for the Brown School (corner of Willow & Kidder) We'd love to have them, and would be willing to pick-up

The Healey School uses them.
They have a collection can right inside the front door, just past the office.

They are located at the end of Edgar St., off of B'way near Central.
The entrance is on the right, by the parking lot.
