My son has lost his cell phone charger.  He is out of work and desperately seeking a job, but in the meantime really needs his phone with his job search.  Does anyone have a Nokia 1680 TMobile charger they would be willing to give/sell/barter?  If not, how about a job for him? ;-)

I was able to replace my Nokia-clone charger at Best Buy -- they and Radio Shack have a bunch of chargers with numerous connector-thingies.

It cost a whole lot less than a new phone! (Or buying the manufacturer's Official Charger).

I can't do much about the job sitch -- I'm looking myself.

Is his nokia a candy bar style phone? I have an extra charger. I'm in Allston though.

Nokia phones have one of two kinds of chargers. Older ones have a round plug about 3mm or so in diameter; newer ones have a round plug less than 1mm in diameter. So if it's an older Nokia phone, a charger for pretty much any older Nokia phone will work, and if it's a newer Nokia phone, a charger for pretty much any newer Nokia phone will work.

I have spare chargers of both types at home. Unfortunately, home is in Quincy. However, I will be in the Porter Square area later today to help a friend move, and I will probably have had a chance to run home first. So if you haven't already found something by this afternoon, and you would be able to meet me near Porter after 5pm or 6pm, call or text-message me so I know to grab my chargers from home and so we can make plans to hand them off to you. I'll private-message you my phone number.

Thank you everyone for your helpful information. I may have found someone who can help me. As far as the job.....he's been through some tough times and doesn't have a 'career path'. He's 23 years old, went to college for a short time but didn't stay, and has since worked in security, as a delivery driver for a florist, and for a catering company.
