My wife had the bonsai bug for a while, and while she's not working on any new trees any more she works on keeping the jade plants happy. They get to spend summer outside, which helps a lot, and they're repotted and trimmed just about every spring.

Surely, no garage or no off-street parking are hits, and I imagine there's no central air but we're still talking about a single family here...
My point is that if everything is on the up and up, I wouldn't think this will last very long.

The markets are different. Right now the condo market is softer than the SF market. It takes a lot of time to sell anything now unless its a steal.
