sourdough starter for trade this week?

I'm going camping this week and would love some sourdough starter for bread while I'm in the rough. I'd love to trade for homemade eclairs, crepes, or dollars. Any takers? Do reply.

I'm not sure I see a logical connection between camping and sourdough starter, but I have some and will be happy to give you a bit.

To those who asked offline, sourdough starter was a pre-dried-commercial-yeast way for forest rangers to keep breadmaking capacity when living on a horse. I'm fascinated by this kind of thing.

And for latvianchick, who asked for a report on the bread, I accidentally left the starter in the fridge, so no bread. :( We did do an excellent cake, however, in a dutch oven.
