Fast-paced French class

I'm interested in learning French. I'd like to find an evening or weekend class that meets once or twice a week, and is reasonably fast-paced. (I know a few languages, and tend to pick them up quickly.)

Can anyone recommend such a class?

I've taken Spanish and Portuguese with CCAE (ccae.org) and I've also studied several languages, and found the pace reasonable, particularly since all the instructors are native speakers, so you generally get good speaking practice.

Anyhow, they definitely have French classes, too, and the prices are quite reasonable, so worth checking out.

I haven't taken the French classes (or any classes for that matter) at CCAE but my good friend loves them. Apparently most classes consisted of advanced discussions about current affairs in French between the instructor and three to five students.

I took French at CCAE a few years ago, I wouldn't say it was necessarily fast-paced, but I think it really depends on the pace of the particular people in the class. That said, I think their instructors would be happy to suggest extra material if you plowed through theirs faster than the rest. They definitely offer night classes as well.
