I would very much like to clarify! All the proceeds raised by Somerville Thrill The World will go to benefit the Somerville Community Corporation (www.somervillecdc.org). They are an awesome community advocacy group that works to maintain the economic, racial and ethnic diversity of Somerville through their programs in tenant rights, civic engagement, and financial literacy. Woo!
We have businesses sponsoring us on a per-zombie basis, so the more people sign up to participate in the event, the more money will go to SCC! Also everyone should go to our website and download a pledge form to raise money from family/friends/coworkers/etc. If everybody raises a little money, a lot of money will get donated!!
