Neighborhood meeting on Maxpak demolition
Nov. 7th, 2009 03:10 pmI rec'd this notice of an official neighborhood meeting on the upcoming maxpak site demolition. Though it is labelled as a neighborhood meeting in large font, I'm not sure if it is a meeting that involves watching a committee talk or if it is actually an informational meeting/presentation with Q&A. Maybe a bit of both.

Date: 2009-11-10 02:54 pm (UTC)Maybe someone else could cover the environmental stuff. Basically they are taking precautions, and the city needs to watch over them.
It is sure going to be strange without those buildings there, a big empty lot.

Date: 2009-11-10 07:35 pm (UTC)In fact they are not demoing the concrete floors now though surely they would have to for the actual project, because that would be extra cost and is not necessary for safety purposes.
It will probably be another couple years, is my best guess, but they gave no real indication of anything.
