Yes. I had good experiences with Pepe at Mario's as well. I have seen good experiences with Umberto at Salon CU in Ball Square.
I go to Karen at La Flamme in Harvard, though I've also had Steve at La Flamme in Harvard and both are good. La Flamme is a Barber Shop and has Barbers as opposed to a Salon which has hairdressers.
I have curly hair that is very curly with a tendency to frizz, just for reference.
