Hello!

I live near Davis Square and have just received a pair of Softspots Reagan Black leather knee-high boots from Amazon. They are beautiful and incredibly comfortable--the only problem is that my legs don't fit into the calf part just right.

Rather than pay the shipping fee to return the boots, I'm hoping to find them a home here.

Here's a link to the zappo's page that has detailed info about them: http://www.zappos.com/softspots-reagan

They're size 7.5, black calfskin, medium width and completely unworn. These would be great for someone who's had trouble finding boots that are wide enough.

I'm selling them for $135. If you're interested, please let me know by responding to this post! I would definitely be willing to negotiate a drop-off.

i'm confused as to why you'd sell them instead of send them back - right on the page you linked to, it says zappos has free shipping both ways.

I think the OP bought the boots from Amazon but linked to the Zappo's site for the info?

Sie didn't buy them via Zappos, though. That's just a link to show the boots.

Have you thought about bringing them to a cobbler to have the calf stretched?

I'd be tempted if they were my size:) I have been needing a pair of boots that will last a good long while, but I hate mail ordering for just the sort of reason that they might not fit right and then I would have to cope with returning/finding a new home, etc. (things I don't like doing).

Good luck:)

This! Savas in Davis Square stretched the vamps on my Frye boots last winter - it was inexpensive (~$10) and done overnight, and the owner is the friendliest dude!

If they can't make the calf smaller, I'd like to try them on and see if they fit.
