Signing up for city email alerts

To expand upon an earlier post, I can't figure out how to sign up for the Connect-CTY Notifications on the City of Somerville website. I think I'm following a logical path, but please correct me if I'm wrong. From the homepage, I click on "Signup for Connect-CTY Notifications and View Previous Messages" under the City Spotlight section. Then I click on "All Messages" under Connect-CTY Notifications and Alerts Signup. Then it brings me to a screen where I can log in to report a problem. I don't want to report a problem, I just want to get alerts!

I'm already a registered user in the Connect-CTY system and have not received any email alerts in the year or so that I've been registered. Any suggestions?

Just go through the screen and put in your address. As long as you select connect CTY add on the first screen it should work. It's not particularly intuitive, but hey, I did not build it and can't fix it.
