Snowy photo walk?

I figure I can't be the only photog here who thinks snow is extremely pretty, so would anyone be interested in gathering for a romp through the snow with cameras the next time it comes down in a picturesque way?

(The last time was a bit wet but I still got some decent shots in it!)

I grabbed a few (http://www.flickr.com/photos/eherot/4161268069/sizes/l/) too but of course for much of the evening none of it stuck to the ground ;-)

Here's hoping this one will be more fruitful. The "French Toast" indicator looks promising!

yeah I am :) I was tickled pink when I found out about it. Ironically it's not my favorite from that night, but I think I know why they chose it.

Let's see if we get any more people to plan a walk... we can't be the only ones. I hope, anyhow!

I got some really pretty pictures in the Fells a couple weeks ago. But I'm not sure I want to walk in boots any more than I have to right now :P

It's a simple-but-effective composition (lots of leading diagonal lines from the left into the distance), and there's a person in it for that human touch. I think if the person wasn't there it wouldn't have suited them nearly as well. My other shots that night were just landscape (which is my usual forte).

Just a theory, anyways.

It's a nice shot... Was the person far away your buddy waiting to be mugged or it just happened that way? :)
