Is redline fubar'ed again?

mbta website not giving any helpful info (just 5-10 minute delay due to switching problem, last updated at 825am)... nothing on boston.com.... anyone know if the redline is delayed? hubby left work 3 hours ago to pick up our sick kiddo, and his phone is still going straight to voicemail, which usually only happens when it is off or when he is underground on the train... anyone recently on the redline (heading towards davis) who could report on how it's running?

I got the train from South Station to Davis around 2 pm; no noticeable slowdown at that point and no announcements of such. I hope they're okay and it's just that his phone ran out of battery. (Mine does that all the time.)

I'm concerned too. My boyfriend left Quincy on the red line to come here for Christmas dinner a very long time ago, and no sign of him...

I was on it earlier today (around 2 pm) and they claimed signal problems at Alewife. It was stop & go as we moved toward Harvard, so I just got off and took a bus.

They ALWAYS claim signal problems at Alewife. It's the "dog ate my homework" of the MBTA.
