If you want something right here in the Davis area, try the hill at Powderhouse Park just up College Ave. They're not the biggest hills, but I see people and their kids sledding on them every year.
There's a Greek church that's on some street that's between Somerville and Highland Aves but I forget what street it is... it's next to the Dunkin' Doughnuts on Somerville Ave. That's a big hill! I went there once it was good. Prospect Hill tower has a big hill too but I don't know how safe that is! I think I used to sled on it when I was little... I don't remember :-P
Tufts! Their hills are fantastic. (Just choose a path that won't smack you up against the iron fence or out into the street once you reach the bottom.)
for totally x*treme sledding, i say head to nashoba valley. they call it "tubing" but it's really just like sledding down the most amazing hills ever without having to climb back up :)
