As a moderator here at davis_square, these are the features LJ lacks that I most miss:
- Poster should be presented with a menu of tags to add, rather than having to type them free-form (and often get them wrong)
- Moderators should be able to strip formatting from posts
- Moderators should be able to add or remove LJ-cuts
- Moderators should be able to close a post to new comments without hiding all existing comments (right now, these two things can only be done together)
- Moderators should be able to temporarily hide a post without actually deleting it (an irrevocable action)
