cherry street muggings?

This afternoon I saw signs posted on telephone poles along Cherry Street near the JFK School. The signs were titled "Neighborhood Warning," and said that several people had been mugged in that area over the last several nights. It also mentioned that the suspects hid behind parked cars. The signs seem to have been posted by a concerned resident.

Just thought I'd pass along the info. If anyone else knows more, I'm curious to hear the details.
