Futon-Couch available $50 Or Best Offer
This is pretty decent entry-level furniture, of the dorm room/first apartment variety. It’s a 6 inch foam-and-batting mattress on a pine frame; it folds up (one fold) to make a couch, or down to make a fairly comfortable (firm) queen size bed. It has a washable blue cover for the mattress. All together it was about $350 for the bed about 5 years ago and $60 for the cover last year, all from Dream on Futon in Central.
We’re getting rid of it because our living room’s just too crowded. The couch and the cover have some stains, but nothing particularly skanky (e.g., one roommate’s cat spilled coffee on it.) It’s thoroughly infused with cat hair, so would be inappropriate for someone allergic to animals. One slat in the pine frame has broken where there’s a large knot.
Getting it out of our house is your problem – I think the movers got it in by lifting it straight up to a second-story porch.
