According to WBZ-AM 1030 this morning, Somerville is going to be one of the town's that doesn't give a rat's ass about residency come May 17 and the legalization of gay marriage, joining the ranks of P-town and Cambridge (Boston seems to have wussed out). So people can come and get married with no questions or hassle.

Hooray!

There's a article in this week's Somerville Journal about the string of muggings on the bike path earlier this month. It looks like there were five in all.

Tuesday, May 4, 10:07 p.m.
Wednesday, May 5, 12:06 a.m. (aka Tuesday night)
Friday, May 8, 12:43 a.m, 2:05 a.m. (aka Thursday Night), 10:17 p.m. (Friday night)

That's two two hours apart on Tuesday night, two two hours apart Thursday night, one on Friday night. Scary.
