Good places?

Hi all! I'm brand new here (moved on Wednesday from Seattle) and I live in between Porter and Davis Square. What are some cool places to check out. Stores, restaurants, coffee shops, anything really. I'm a vegetarian, so any good veggie restaurant suggestions would be appreciated too. Of course places in Cambridge or near the Longwood Medical area are good too.

A friend of mine and I are attempting to start a magazine (which will initially start as a newsletter due to lack of funds) which we will be editors of for teen WOC. No no offense to my non-WOC in here (which is like all of you) but it's very discouraging not to see a lot of faces like yourself in magazines and such...so with all that said...

We need writers (of articles, fiction and poetry), artists, fashion designers, muscicians, film makers and models! Though this will be a publication primarily for teen WOC we can always use help from any and everybody. Comment if interested.
