Need a little extra money for Christmas?

I'm looking for some help with snow removal. I posted this on Craigslist a little while ago, but my leads have all dried up.

There's a good potential for "weather" in the next week, after Monday, through Christmas.

I'm paying $12-15/hr. My plow route is approx. 5 hours long, and the storm Monday might take 2 or 3 passes. I don't know how long the storm will last.

3 passes * 5 hours * $12-$15/hr = $180-$225 in cash for last minute Christmas shopping!

With the potential for more work during the rest of the winter, if you're interested.

This winter, I will be plowing residential driveways in the Lincoln/Concord area. I am looking for people to assist me with shovelling.

We begin when there are 2"-3" of snow on the ground, and repeat the route for every 2-3" that falls until the end of the storm. If the storm lasts 15 hours, we'll be out there until the end of it.

You will be shovelling walkways and areas that I cannot plow. You will help direct me in tight areas. I will join you shovelling after the plowing is done.

I understand that due to the unpredictable nature of snowstorms, you may not be available at all times to shovel. I am planning on having a few people besides yourself to assist me, depending on your and their schedules.

I live near Davis Square, and transportation can be arranged. You will be riding in my truck while we're working anyway.

First off, the monthly "Dark Sky" concert series in Somerville is going to 2x per month, beginning 1/6/05.

That means we're gonna have goth/industrial/EBM/dark metal/deathrock/electronica bands on the 1st AND 3rd Thursdays of every month at The Skybar.

I want to have one vendor or artist per show to display their wares/works at each show. You get to sell stuff and get your name out there!
