Somerville Community Chorus Spring Season

Welcome to the spring 2005 season of the Somerville Community Chorus, the
20th anniversary of the chorus! Our spring program includes the music of
Beethoven, Brahms, PDQ Bach.

Open rehearsals will be held at 7:15 pm on Tuesday January 11th and 18th at
the Somerville Council on Aging. We welcome anyone who wants to check out
the chorus to these rehearsals. Feel free to attend one or more to learn
about the chorus and the season's program. After the open rehearsals, we
ask people to join by paying dues for the season and committing to attending
most of the season's rehearsals.

The Somerville Council on Aging is located at 167 Holland Street, a little
more than half-way from Davis Square to Teele Square. It's a couple-minute
walk from the Davis Square T and parking is available. (For those of you
who have sung with us before, the Somerville Council on the Aging is right
next to the Powder House Community School where we've rehearsed in previous

Anyone who loves to sing can join the Somerville Community Chorus. There are
no auditions and the membership dues are only $65 per season. You are not
required to sight-read music and practice tapes are available to help you
learn your parts. Remember, no auditions! If you like the chorus, just pay
your dues and you're in!
